this little guy is from little big planet, and i think he's SO cute!!!
Instrctions:
This is a pattern for a 4" (10 cm) tall Little Big Planet Sack Boy Amigurumi
Ingredients:
F (4.0mm) Hook
Worsted Weight Yarn
9mm safety eyes
Yarn Needle
Embroidery Floss and Needle
Polyfil Stuffing
Grey Felt
Scissors
Fabric Glue
Head and Body:
Chain 2
6 sc in stitch farthest from the needle (6)
[2 sc increase] repeat 6 times around (12)
[2 sc increase, 1 sc] repeat 6 times around (18)
[2 sc increase, 2 sc] repeat 6 times around (24)
Work 3 rows even
[2 sc increase, 3 sc] repeat 6 times around (30)
Work 2 rows even
[Sc2tog, 3 sc] repeat 6 times around (24)
[Sc2tog, 2 sc] repeat 6 times around (18)
At this point, place 9 mm eyes 8 rows down from the top and 6 stitches apart. Stitch on mouth in embroidery floss and stuff the head.
[Sc2tog, 1 sc] repeat 6 times around (12)
[Sc2tog] repeat 6 times around (6)
[2 sc increase] repeat 6 times around (12)
[2 sc increase, 1 sc] repeat 6 times around (18)
work 3 rows even
[Sc2tog, 1 sc] repeat 6 times around (12)
Stuff the body.
[Sc2tog] repeat 6 times around (6)
Cut a long tail and stitch the last 6 stitches together.
Legs (make 2):
Chain 2
6 sc in stitch farthest from the needle (6)
[2 sc increase, 1 sc] repeat 3 times around(9)
work 3 rows even
Stuff the legs.
[Sc2tog, 1 sc] repeat 3 times around(6)
Cut a long tail and stitch the last 6 stitches together.
Run the tail through the leg tube and pull tight. This will flatten the foot and help your doll stand up better.
Arms (make 2):
Chain 2
6 sc in stitch farthest from the needle (6)
Work 3 rows even
[2 sc increase, 1 sc] repeat 3 times around(9)
Ch2, turn, 2 sc back to tube, slst next sc [ch3, turn, 2 sc back to tube, slst next sc] repeat 4 times. Do not work final 4 sts in row.
Fasten off, leaving a long tailing end. Use tailing end to stitch closed tube.
